OOW Engineer
We are currently recruiting for an Engineer OOW to join the team.

About you:
Key skills, Experience & Competencies:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- Previous OOW Engineer experience
- STCW Certification is required
- Valid ENG 1
- MCA Certificates of Competence (or CeC)
About the Role
The OOW Engineer will work alongside the Master and Deck OOW on board one of our well maintained landing crafts on the North West Coast of Scotland.
Our vessels are suitable for many applications from the offshore sector to aquaculture and logistics and are available for hire to carry out a wide range of duties
Prior experience of crane operations would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
Main Responsibilities (list not exhaustive)
- Ensuring that the Company’s Safety Management System is adhered to at all times
- Planning and controlling all maintenance and repair activities in the engine room department, reporting maintenance and repair activities
- Monitoring engine control systems
- Carrying out proper recording in the engine logbook
- Being in charge of the vessel’s technical equipment
- Carrying out the responsibilities and emergency duties as required
- Carrying out maintenance and greasing/conservation work
- Crane operations
- Perform cargo loading/discharge duties as directed by the Master
