Ferguson Transport & Shipping seeks to minimise any potential negative impact of its activities on the environment and has set a target of Zero incidents within our policies and procedures. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and considering how we perform as a protector of nature, including:

The reduction in our carbon footprint is pursued through a broad range of actions and initiatives, including:

reducing waste/packaging
reducing energy usage

Driving positive change

We have also driving sustainability through our purchase of the Euro 6 Volvo FH (4) I-Shift fleet, which meets the most stringent EU emissions standards and is one of the most efficient vehicles on the road today.

Even with this investment, we continue to work alongside the industry and partners to reduce our environmental impact even further where we can. We are actively looking towards future technology and the purchase of greener vehicles and the use of alternative and renewable energy/fuels.

The company is committed to being Net Zero in line with government guidance and has commenced plans for the installation of EV charging points at all sites in readiness for the moving to EVs for local transport.
