Founded in 1959 by the late Archie Ferguson and his wife Anne in Ardrishaig, Argyll, Ferguson Transport & Shipping is a family-owned and operated business. With over 60 years of experience in the haulage industry, we provide proactive logistic solutions for our customers throughout the Highlands & Islands, and mainland UK, within multiple sectors including:

With over 210 hardworking employees who share our commitment to quality service, we have a fantastic team of experienced and talented staff across all divisions of the company, including road, rail, sea and port facilities.
We recognise that dedicated staff are key to the success of our business, therefore investing in employee welfare, training and development is important to us. We’re also proud to have successfully trained numerous apprentices over the years, who have gone on to become an integral part of our team.
