FT&S Sponsor 2026 National First Shinty Finals

Ferguson Transport & Shipping are proud to support the Camanachd Association National First Shinty Finals again for 2026.

 

The event, which is held annually in Fort William, brought together talented young players from schools across Scotland, showcasing an impressive level of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day. It was fantastic to see so many pupils taking part and enjoying the opportunity to compete at a national level.

 

Congratulations to Rockfield Primary (P6/7) and Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig Phort Rìgh (P4/5) who were crowned champions in their respective competitions. Both teams delivered outstanding performances to secure their victories.

 

We would also like to recognise all the pupils, teams and coaches who took part in the finals. The standard of play was excellent at both tournaments, and every team represented their schools with great enthusiasm and determination.

 

A big thank you goes to everyone who helped make the day possible, including the organisers, scorekeepers, schools, as well as staff from Lochaber High School and the Nevis Centre.
