Highland Hospice – Go Nuts Art Trail
This week our HGV driver Neggie delivered three squirrels to three locations in the Highlands including: Ruaridh to Bayfield picnic area Portree, Nutkin to Eilean Donan Castle and Born to be wild to the Neptune’s Staircase at Banavie.
The Highland Hospice has collaborated with local wildlife sculptor Scott Gleed and a wide range of amateur and professional artists to create 23 five foot red squirrel sculptures. Each squirrel is supported by a local business from the Highlands.
The very special trail will run until September, followed by a farewell display and charity auction in November where each squirrel will be sold to raise funds to support Hospice care in the Highlands.
You can find all their locations through the following link: https://highlandhospice.org/how-you-can-help/our-corporate-supporters
