HGV Class 1 Driver
We are looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join our General Haulage team, to drive allocated Volvo FH 500 HGV Class 1 [Mon-Fri Tramping] with attachment trailers: flatbeds, curtain siders, occasional drop sided trailers, low loaders and tanker trailers.
Weekly paid: General Haulage: £15.00 per hour + £16.00r overtime rate (>8hrs = overtime), or with ADR: £15.50 per hour + £16.50 overtime + £30.30 per night in cab/tax free
Other Shift Patterns are available – including regular weekend work (to maximise income)
To load with care, general cargo including forestry products and round wood.
We invite applications from C + E Drivers who want to work from Grangemouth, Methil, Invergordon or Fort William.

Main areas of Work
- Deliver customers goods in a professional and friendly manner
- Ensure the vehicle is safe and fit to be on the road by carrying out daily checks
- Work within the tachograph and working time directive laws
- Ensure all PODs are captured accurately
Working on your own initiative and as part of a team, you will
- Drive HGV1 vehicles and other company vehicles as necessary according to licence provision
- Maintain and update training to drive artic and rigid vehicles to comply with company needs and legislation
- Ensure safe and secure loading of cargo at commencement and throughout duration of the journey to off loading cargo
- Report any issues effectively and promptly to management
